Melaka Zoo and Night Safari

Zoo Melaka was established in 1963 under the care of the Melaka state government. It was privatized in early 2013 under the new name of Melaka Zoo and Night Safari.

This 54 acres second largest zoo in Malaysia under the new Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya will see a transformation of the zoo into an open concept in the animal exhibit, enhancing wildlife education program, animal breeding and conservation program and making the zoo to be a recreational area.

The ever-popular Night Safari will be enhanced to give visitors a unique opportunity to observe the behaviour of nocturnal animals in their natural habitats.

At Melaka Zoo & Night Safari, it is not just about a walk through our animals but a whole new wildlife discovery with our various programs suitable for preschoolers to university students and corporate companies.

Dinosaur Encounter

Dinosaur Encounter knew as the largest interactive dinosaur park in Southeast Asia. Featuring 100 species of life-sized dinosaur replicas, your kids will love immersing themselves in this Jurassic Park-like experience. Dinosaur Encounter sits in a 5-acre forest park at Zoo Melaka; when we step into this dinosaur world, we feel like we are returning to prehistoric times. These life-sized dinosaurs are pretty realistic and don’t be surprised to see visitors snapping photos of velociraptors, Triceratops and the massive T-Rex. No additional admission fees need to be paid to enter this Dinosaur Encounter, and it is included in the ticket of Zoo Melaka.
