Jonker Street (Malay: Jalan Hang Jebat)  is the main tourist spot area in Malacca City in the state of Malacca. This area includes Jalan Hang Jebat, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Jalan Tokong, Jalan Tukang Besi, Stadthuys and Dutch Square. This is the Malacca World Heritage Zone.  This area is filled with historical houses along the left and right sides of the street dating back to the 17th century, many shops selling antiques, textiles, foods, handicrafts and souvenirs. The area turns into a night market every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 12 midnight.

This area has a lot of hotels, resorts and guest houses, and all the main tourist spot is within walking distance if we decide to stay in this area.
